This program lets you listen to sounds from a file. It read sounds from a selected file and can read many sounds; but not all since they may be of an unknown format or one that the program can't handle.
MiniSoundReader reads sounds of type 'snd ' and sounds in AIFF files. Usually 'snd ' sounds can be used by the System file, games, HyperCard and by some applications that use a microphone to record sound.

You can give it a try by opening the file "msr%Sounds" and do the following: left = 4000, right = 4001, both = 4002. Important: to make the best of this capability you are highly recommended to uses STEREO headphones (that can be easily connected to the rear side of your Macintosh).
